ACCESS & SUCCESS

A primary barrier facing SKC students in reaching their goals of higher education is funding. Even with a reasonable fee structure and reduced tuition rates for Native American students, our students often carry high unmet financial needs. SKCF is proud to be SKC’s primary source of private scholarship funding and has been for over 30 years. The SKCF scholarship program is a critical source of access for our students and presents an ongoing opportunity for growth.

Once students gain access and realize college success, SKCF serves as a bridge to staying connected. In expanding our reach and celebrating those who have successfully completed degrees, SKCF is creating a robust new alumni association with exciting opportunities for social connection, professional networking, and integration with current SKC people and programs. This effort will facilitate communication among alumni and the SKC community, celebrate alumni achievements, cultivate donor relationships, and even provide mentorship opportunities between alumni and current students.
