Cultural Perpetuation

Help us support one of SKC's vision of moving forward with creating a broader understanding of Cultural Perpetuation

What is Cultural Perpetuation?

CULTURAL PERPETUATION (Campaign goal $150,000)

SKC emboldens Cultural Perpetuation through a variety of enriching activities, programs, and even the physical campus itself. Implementing these meaningful experiences and connections happens through Native American language education, arts instruction and engagement, cultural gatherings, among other important institutional opportunities. As SKC seeks continued introduction to and integration of cultural tenets and priorities, SKC Advancement is uniquely positioned to advocate and build support for them.

Donations made to this campaign will provide direct support to areas including:

  • Cultural and Language Studies (Salish and Kootenai language apprentice stipends and associated instructor and administrative leadership)

  • Cultural Gatherings and Events (traditional skills camps and workshops, guest lectures, and SKC community meals)

  • Native American Arts (art shows, demonstrations, guest artists, and community presentations)
