SKC emboldens Cultural Perpetuation through a variety of enriching activities, programs, and even the physical campus itself. Implementing these meaningful experiences and connections happens through Native language education, art instruction, and cultural gatherings, among other important institutional opportunities. As SKC seeks the continued introduction to and integration of cultural tenets and priorities, SKCF is uniquely positioned to advocate and build support for them!
SKCF is elevating our Cultural Perpetuation Initiative through support of important projects and programs such as:
- Cultural Gatherings and Events (Encampment, Art Shows, Guest Lectures, Potlucks, and Demonstrations)
- Native American Arts (art shows, workshops, guest artists, or community presentations)
- Native Language Preservation and Empowerment [Salish Language Educator Development (SLED) and Our People’s Voice storyteller project]
